In this painting, I've aimed to capture a moment of sudden stillness and a muted connection between two figures against a coastal backdrop. Using acrylics, I have layered the realistic portrayal of their forms with a blending of tranquility and underlying tension. The choice of a pale seascape and the stark vintage car generate a nostalgic, yet timeless atmosphere. This artwork underscores the complexities of human interactions and the poignant beauty found in everyday scenes.
For texture before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded for smoothness. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Series "Life in Avatar". Created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. Painting is packed in cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap to protect it. Artwork is signed and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
