It’s good to have someone to smoke with on the way. In this painting, I captured a moment between two individuals during a smoking break in a vast desert. Using stark acrylic contrasts, I explored themes of isolation and connection, juxtaposed with the elegance of classic cars. The figurative realism highlights both physical and emotional distance, inviting viewers to reflect on their relationships. This artwork brings a contemplative energy to any space, combining raw human interactions with automotive beauty. For texture, a paste with glass particles was applied and sanded for smoothness. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. The finish is satin varnish, and the ends are painted in the background color. Part of the “Life in Avatar” series, it is created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. The painting is packed in a cardboard box with bubble wrap. The artwork is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
