Oasis

This painting was done for a winterfest event in Fredericton, New Brunswick and was eventually sold at auction. This piece echoes of a drawing I did in Hiroshima, Japan of The Genbaku Dome. I remember feeling that it felt strangely calm and peaceful to be doing that on that day in a place that seen so much suffering. The city and its' center is now an oasis of peace; yet of remembering the lives lost. This image's size, color, and medium used can be adapted to your choice. Please check out my other Artwork pieces.
