Made from American grown Maple veneer, the simple elegant form of the Candle Opera displays a variety of hand printed surface images most of which are derived from nature. An assortment of butterflies, birds, flowers and wildlife decorate each piece. When illuminated from within by candle light, the grain of the wood is revealed and the images meld with the sheer translucent surface. The soft golden glow is mesmerizing and memorable. Each tree that is harvested is grown from renewable sources and because the grain of each tree is unique. Each Candle Opera is an individual work of art. The Candle Opera is handmade in Mariposa, California by award winning designers Anne and Frank Vigneri. Each one comes with a glass candle jar and tea light and is packed in its own gift box.
