The Mediterranean

The Mediterranean is an abstract inspired by the color palette from the sea, shore, sky, and mountainous regions of the Mediterranean. The textures resemble old and worn stucco and were achieved by adding numerous layers of paint and carefully scrapping the layers away. The painting is on 36” x 36” x 1.5" museum-grade gallery wrapped canvas and has two coats of varnish to help protect from dust and UV light. The sides continue are white so framing is optional. It is wired and ready to hang. I added a few photos showing what the painting could look like if framed – it is sold unframed.
