Fighting Dragon

This acrylic abstract painting on a stretched canvas was created using black, raw sienna, deep yellow ochre, ultramarine blue, cadmium red light hue, white, and a matte medium. Paint was applied using palette knives and brushes, and it's finished with a satin varnish. When I started painting this piece I was feeling great and thinking about painting a bird, but as I was working somebody brought an unpleasant issue to my attention that caused my energy vibration level to change, and before I knew it I was channeling this new energy and blinding applying paint very rapidly. I knew as soon as I was done that I was painting an abstract dragon in mid-flight during a battle. This is why I call this piece "Fighting Dragon". This is one of my favourite pieces because I was distracted and unaware of what I was doing, but yet spirit took over and created something eerily beautiful. The sides are painted, frame is not included. All of my pieces are ready to hang, come with a certificate of authenticity and are shipped securely in a box.
