Danielle Charpentier-Leduc

BIO

As a self-taught artist, in 2016, Danielle started exploring the power of art as a form of healing. It had been her lifelong dream to someday have the opportunity to explore her artistic creativity. Following lung cancer treatments in 2014-15, her insatiable need to express herself through vibrant colors led her to experiment with a multitude of different techniques and mixed media. She finds the colors, textures, and the fluidity of the movements in her paintings liberating, fascinating, and emotionally satisfying.

The Zen Zone is her oasis where she listens to music, relaxes, and lets the paint flow. The titles of her paintings are inspired by her gratitude at having that second chance at life. She continues to use life's precious lessons to inspire her art and to create artwork that reflects the importance of having that second chance.
