I am a Lebanese Artist and Product Designer. Currently, I live in Australia and work from home. I always had this passion for art and drawing since I was a child. I used to draw on all materials I could find. I am more concerned with atmosphere, color, and socially relevant content than with concept or form. Personally, making art is like diving deep into another world, a mysterious parallel universe, where everything is possible. I take my time so that what emerges seems sufficiently satisfactory to me at all levels (self-expression and aesthetic aspect). The result frequently takes on a primitive identity, almost tribal art, something that comes from afar, and sticks to the collective unconscious. I am not trying to paint it as an impulse that imposes itself and must be satisfied but as an impulse for life. I do not seek to divert objects, but the idea of creating a work from "Nothing" pleases me very much. The natural world where we live, especially my country Lebanon which is one of the most beautiful regions in the world, its beauties, and atmosphere warm, and the view of the sunset, added to anything I find attractive, have the biggest influences on me. By using references to a broad array of sources, including literature and art history, diving into different styles such as Monet, Rembrandt, Ingres, and Picasso, helped me using many methods from landscape to impressionism, cubism, and abstract to create paintings that are joyful interpretations of my life experiences and feelings. I usually use it as a medium, mixed with watercolor or pewter, an acrylic painting on canvas or wood. The color imposes the pace of the work, and rhythm occurs with different strokes and techniques that give shape to the chromatic melody that I compose. It starts with emotions or feelings, and I translate them on canvas into expressions and motions. At the Saints Coeurs Institution, I started my studies of Art Plastic accomplished at Ecole des Beaux-Arts, France. I opened my Atelier in Beirut in 2002, in which I worked at first on pewter to bring life to such a cold metal. Since I love color and texture, I mixed these elements to create a harmonious balance and artworks where I draw my inspiration. Along with my atelier, I participated in many group exhibitions. I delivered customized paintings to private clients. By working on different projects, I designed and executed giveaway gift items for banks and companies and shared programs to empower women and encourage children to discover the creative minds and talent they already have. Through my paintings, I try to express my feelings, the way I see the world, and connect with the viewers emotionally, hoping to capture the moment on canvas, leaving them free to understand it as they see it.
