Reconciling oneself into the creative process Mario Buscio was raised among a family of artists: siblings, father and great uncle. He has experienced and loved of the arts. He has gone to art school in college. In his late teens he had a profound encounter with his Creator. This took him into an entirely different path. He felt compelled to follow the path of ministry going to Bible college and then unto Seminary. He ministered as a pastor and church planter for 10 years till 2010. In the midst of this, he was visual arts director for a cultural centre and then went on to be the instigator of a new artists centre in the province he currently resides in. All through these roles and creations, ministry and doing things for other a longing to be back in the creating process was softly and at times violently calling him to pursue his calling. "Art is a gift from the Creator to humankind. It give us a unique view, perception and insight into God's creative vastness that we can hardly comprehend in its entirety but are welcomed into, through special invitation, by the gift of creating art." Mario Albert Buscio These two worlds, art and theology, seemed at one time in contradiction to one another. This was mainly caused by the state of mind and identity crisis that Buscio felt in his early twenties to late thirties. The reflection continued yet with a slow and gradual return to producing art into his fifth decade. It is in this decade that he was able to reconcile himself with what he found that was God's first recorded event in human history, that of creation. He has now returned to creating.
