Regina Mpountala

Triantafyllia-Regina Boudala, was born on October 17, 1994, and comes from Skopelos, Greece. Her family has written a history of more than two centuries, fermented with the sea and the passion of creation. Four generations of shipbuilders from Skopelos, who continue their activities. Regina Boudala studied archeology at the University of Thessaly and deals with the study of art history, shipbuilding, and the local history of Skopelos and she is active on the emergence, through the club "Skopelos Island Research Center". Since her childhood, deeply influenced by her father and grandfather's artistic career, she has loved the arts. She deals with the micro-shipbuilding art, constructing small boats and all the details of ships (as figureheads, etc.). At the same time, however, from a very early age, she began to work on painting and she has carved her own artistic career. The influences she has received from her occupation with archeology and micro-shipbuilding are reflected in her works. The favorite themes of her works are still life, the human body, seascapes and ancient Greek sculpture.
