Rina Ritzi’s art is soulful and expressive, shaped by her understanding of self and the impact of one’s presence on others.

After 25 years as an accountant, Ritzi felt the need to break free from the rigid black-and-white structures of numbers and balance sheets. She rediscovered her creative passion through a painting course, which ignited an energy that fed her soul and transformed her life.

Abstract art became her chosen language – a way to escape boundaries, embrace freedom, and express what cannot be measured. Her Nature Series reflects her fascination with the sea and sky, capturing their ever-changing moods – from calm horizons to turbulent clouds – inviting viewers to experience both the vastness and intimacy of nature.

Today, Ritzi is recognized as one of South Africa’s leading modern abstract artists, celebrated for transforming emotion, energy, and the rhythms of nature into powerful works of art.
